Do you have a sweet tooth but don’t know any healthy recipes to make that craving go away? Try out these oatmeal energy bites! Get rid of your sweet tooth cravings while eating a healthy snack that contains substance and protein!
They’re super easy to make, and only have 5 ingredients!
- 1 cup of quick steel cut oats
- 1/3 cup chocolate chips
- 1/3 cup honey
- ½ cup peanut butter or cookie butter
- 1 cup coconut, sweetened or unsweetened
All you need to do is combine all of the ingredients into one bowl and mix completely. You then will need to roll them into whatever size balls you’d like. Lastly, you will need to put them in the fridge for about 30 minutes (optional).
These are great pre-gym snacks for you or your kid. They’re a light snack, but will give you enough fuel to complete your workout to the best of your ability. They’re also great as a post-workout, healthy snack to put into your body after a tough workout to replenish some lost energy!
