MARKETING AND PUBLIC RELATIONS INTERN
We have an opening for a part-time Marketing and PR Intern at our West location.
The internship is available to begin in January 2016 at approximately 10 to 15 hours per week. Requires excellent writing skills, time management, and attention to detail. Graphic design experience a plus. Interns will learn about and assist with social media management, public relations, general marketing, flyers, brochures, logo design and more. Educational opportunities will also entail working closely with the diverse programs of our 40,000 sq. ft. youth sports center.
Requires some time at outside community festivals and events throughout Alachua County. Must have reliable transportation.
Minimum one-year commitment requested. Available for course credit.
USAG GIRLS GYM TEAM COACHES
We are looking for passionate, energetic, competitive, and dedicated team coaches to work with our women’s compulsory, optional, and TOPS/Elite teams.
Part-time opening for a compulsory coach 3:00 – 7:00 pm, Monday – Friday.
Full-time opening to work with compulsory and optionals, Monday – Saturday.
We are committed to a raised standard and high expectations in all aspects of our program and are looking for coaches who are eager to learn and work together as a member of a team to help maximize the potential of our gymnasts.
Position requires weekend travel to meets.
We are seeking experienced upper-level cheer coaches with leadership skills to join our expanding cheer program.
Must be able to effectively and enthusiastically manage class and team practices, spot running tumbling, and teach cheer safely to higher-level students. All Star coaching experience preferred. Hours will be part-time.
Some weekend travel to competitions will be required.
We are now hiring experienced gymnastics coaches for all programs: boys & girls, recreational & team, pre-school & up. Most positions are part-time.
All coaching positions require a great deal of enthusiasm and energy for spotting the necessary events, a love for working with children, and excellent communication and teaching skills. Must be available at least 2-3 afternoons/evenings per week. Saturday morning hours may be available as well.
We are now accepting applications for energetic, caring, dedicated Afterschool Counselors! Special needs experience and/or education preferred. Experience working with children required. Must have an outgoing personality and must love working with children.
Applicants must be at least 21 years old with a clean driving record to fulfill insurance requirements for this particular position, which may involve greeting students at a local elementary school and waiting for our driver to pick them up and/or driving one of our afterschool vans.
Hours will be part-time and available shifts are 1:30 – 6:30 pm Monday – Friday (12:15-6:30 pm on Wednesdays). Opportunities may exist for additional hours in other departments.
Counselor job duties involve leading activities with school-age children (ages 5 – 12) in our 40,000 sq. ft. Jonesville facility. All training is provided, and counselors will lead activities such as basic gymnastics skills, group games, free swimming, rock-climbing, board games, homework assistance, etc.
