Sun Country is seeking an experienced climber to be part of our team at Sun Country Rocks! This position would be coaching youth climbing classes (about 4-6 hours / week), and overseeing open-climb shifts in the evenings (about 4-8 hours / week).

Climbing experience, an outgoing personality, strong focus on safety, and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment are required. Duties include providing enthusiastic customer service, teaching belay lessons and monitoring the safety of a few dozen climbers, all simultaneously. Qualified applicants should have 1+ years’ experience in recreational climbing and a strong understanding of climbing technique, terminology, and safety.
Program includes adult recreational climbing, instructional youth classes and a competitive youth team. Experience working with children preferred.
