WEST FACILITY:

UPDATED MASK POLICY:

Effective July 22, 2021

Due to recent spikes in COVID cases in Alachua County – along with suggestions from the American Academy of Pediatrics and advisement of local medical professionals we are changing our face covering policies effective IMMEDIATELY.

MASKS REQUIRED:

  • ALL CAMP SUNNY CAMPERS (School-Age) AND AFTER-SCHOOL.
  • If you are an adult STAYING in the building at our West Facility (Examples: parent child classes, rock climbing or escorting a child under the age of 5).

MASKS NOT REQUIRED BUT HIGHLY ENCOURAGED:

  • CAMP SUNNY JUNIOR (Pre-School Age) AND SUNNY’S PRE-SCHOOL.
  • Children heading straight into class (i.e. gymnastics, ninja, dance) while they come in the building and down the hallway.
  • Kids are also welcome to keep masks on throughout class and practice.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Our staff is diligently trying to keep everyone in our facility safe! Please do your part and follow our new policy.

WEST FACILITY SAFETY GUIDELINES:

  • Screening questions at the facility door remain unchanged.
    Please read and follow before arriving at Sun Country.
  • Note: We will no longer be checking temperatures at the door.
    Please do not come to Sun Country with a temperature
    of 100.4 or higher.
  • Outside handwashing station: We encourage handwashing
    or hand sanitizing prior to entering the facility.
  • Students sanitize hands before entering each program activity
    area and after every rotation.
  • Students are required to bring in their own water bottle labeled
    with their name. All water fountains have been converted to
    water filling stations.
  • No more than 1 adult per child in the building for ages
    5 and under.
  • Curbside drop off/pick up is required for students
    ages 6 and older.
  • Online streaming video service is available for parents
    to observe class/practice.
  • Props, mats and other equipment are disinfected throughout
    the day and throughout activities as needed.
  • If a child or adult is sick we will thoroughly disinfect the area
    that they occupied as quickly as possible.
  • Stations and activities are modified to provide additional
    distance between students where possible.
  • Air Fresh™ chlorine dioxide (ClO2) anti-viral diffusers are
    installed in all HVAC systems.
  • Commercial disinfectant foggers are used nightly throughout
    the entire facility.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • All Staff members at our Millhopper Facility will be wearing face coverings regardless of vaccination status.
  • Masks are NOT required but highly encouraged for gymnasts coming in the facility directly to class. Gymnasts are welcome to keep masks on throughout practice if they would like.

    REQUIRED before practice. We encourage you to have your
    child wash hands at the end of practice as well.
