We hope your camper will join us at the 36th Annual Team Camp – register early!
Please Note: Team Camp has limited registrations available. Registrations may not be accepted after June 1, 2026.
Team Camp is a four-day, high-energy, unforgettable experience designed exclusively for USAG and AAU competitive team athletes-both boys and girls. This isn’t just extra practice-it’s a unique opportunity for your gymnast to step outside their normal routine, gain fresh perspective from new coaches, and return stronger, more confident, and more motivated.
Athletes will focus on skill development and upgrades while building strength, flexibility, mobility, and air sense in a more intentional way. Camp also includes daily dance, a physical therapy workshop, and nutrition education led by a registered dietician-giving gymnasts tools they can carry beyond the gym. Special guest coaches, including elite and collegiate coaches, UF gymnasts, and FIG judges, add an extra layer of inspiration and valuable feedback.
Beyond training, Team Camp is about connection and growth. Gymnasts build friendships, gain independence, and create lasting memories through shared experiences – from a field trip to Westside Park and pool to the end-of-week Skill Showcase. Fun extras like tie-dyeing a camp t-shirt (and an exclusive bow for girls) make the experience even more special.
This is more than a camp – it’s purposeful, exciting training that helps take your gymnast to the next level. We can’t wait to see you there!
All athletes must be in a competitive team or a developmental (pre-team) program. Students do not have to be enrolled with Team Sun Country. Enrollment is limited to ensure a good instructor-to-student ratio.
This summer’s Team Camp will be even more engaging and exciting as we welcome gymnasts and other special guests who will be coaching, inspiring and sharing their expertise with everyone!
Team Camp Guest Coach
Hi everyone! My name is Nevaeh (but I just go by Nev) and I’m so excited to work with you all! I started gymnastics at 2 years old, going to Dream Xtreme Gymnastics in Vacaville, CA where I have had the opportunity to return and currently coach the level 6-10s! In club, I earned a 10.0 on vault doing a yurchenko 1 1/2. From there, I earned a full ride scholarship to compete for the University of California, Berkeley. Throughout my time at Cal, I was named Pac-12 Freshman of the Year, earned 7 All-Pac-12 honors, and became a 6-time All-American gymnast. After finishing my college career, I returned to Cal as an assistant coach for the 2023–2024 season, where they placed 2nd at Nationals! My favorite thing about gymnastics is making memories with your teammates that will last a lifetime! At camp, I can’t wait to help you learn new skills, work hard, and HAVE FUN!
Team Camp Guest Coach
Hello Sun Country Gymnastics people! My name is Jon Lee.
I was a competitive gymnast from 1980-1992. I competed as a National Team athlete for the USA and for UCLA as a scholarship athlete. I have been a women’s gymnastics coach/team director since 2001 at Sun Country, ACE in Florida, Dynamo in Oklahoma, and TNT in Fargo.
I was also an acrobat, stunt person, and trapeze flyer.
In the last 25 years, I have coached level 2-10 gymnasts and all levels of XCEL on all four events.
I have been blessed to be a part of over 25 athletes attaining D1 scholarships and numerous National Champions in 3 different regions.
I am currently traveling and sharing my experience and knowledge with all athletes and coaches in this great sport that has allowed me to work and compete around the world. Looking forward to spreading the gymnastics love in Gainesville this June! See y’all soon!
UF Gymnast 2023-2026
Lori Brubach is a senior all-around gymnast for the University of Florida from Apopka, Florida. Competing primarily on floor, she has earned a career-high 9.90 and been a consistent contributor to the Gators’ lineup.
A sports management major, Brubach is a multiple-time WCGA Scholastic All-American and SEC Academic Honor Roll honoree. Before college, she was a successful Level 10 gymnast, highlighted by a 2019 Eastern vault title.
Former Sun Country Gymnast
I treat a wide range of orthopaedic conditions, with a special focus on head and neck injuries. This includes headache and migraine disorders, TMJ dysfunction, neck pain and vestibular and concussion-related conditions. As a former gymnast, I enjoy working with gymnasts and other athletes, helping them safely return to the activities they love.
My interest in physical therapy began while I was a competitive gymnast, when University of Florida physical therapy students visited our team to give educational presentations. I found the field fascinating and was drawn to the idea of helping people regain function and confidence after injury. Today, my approach centers not only on recovery but also on injury prevention, with the goal of helping patients stay active and healthy in the long term.
I earned my doctorate in physical therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and later completed a manual therapy certification through the same institution. My training allows me to combine hands-on techniques with evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s goals and lifestyle.
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy spending time with friends and family and playing with my dog, Ruby.
