Hello Team Sun Country Families!

We are at the halfway point of the Compulsory Season and the coaches are tremendously proud of the continued progress our gymnasts have made! All of the girls displayed a fantastic amount of effort at our local Teddy Bear Meet this past weekend and now we keep on rolling with a busy schedule ahead:

  • Gymnastics Around the World Meet in St. Augustine, FL on November 5-6.
  • Wheel of Fortune Gymnastics Meet in Largo, FL on November 19-20.

To cap off November, the Level 2’s have their State Meet at the end of the month! We look forward to ending their first season ever with a bang!

A big shout out goes out to Joy Ziegenfelder as she returns to Developmental Invite camp this month. She has put in so much time since the September camp to really work on her weaknesses, and we know this will be her best showing yet! We wish her the best as she continues to make strides in her gymnastics journey.

University of Florida Assistant Coach, Owen Field, visited our gym this month in order to observe our recruitable gymnasts at practice. This is an incredible development for Team Sun Country, as we have several athletes currently training at the level required to make the transition into college gymnastics. As our girls continue to develop in and out of the gym, hopefully the can pursue their dreams of one day becoming successful NCAA athletes!
