Sun Country Sports Center operates year round with no long term commitments. You may enroll at any time. Please see our class calendar
for closed and break dates.
All students enrolled in classes are required to be Auto-Pay and leave a credit or debit card on file. Tuition will be automatically deducted from your account on the 25th of the month for the upcoming month. Additional program/retail charges will be charged weekly on Mondays. If we have a family email address on file you will receive a courtesy email on the (business) day before your account will be charged. If your credit card is declined* you will have 1 (one) week to make a payment or your child will be automatically dropped from class.
Joining a class after the month commences results in a pro-rated tuition based on your start date. We have a flat rate tuition program that is based on 48 weeks with 12 months averaging 4 weeks each.
Missed Class Policy:
We do not offer credits, refunds or make-up classes for missed classes. Your tuition is based on enrollment (guaranteed spot) and not a result of attendance. By not offering make up classes we can ensure that your child’s class is well structured and never over booked. The quality and safety of the class is what is most important at Sun Country.
We do understand that sometimes it is not possible to attend your scheduled class. In this instance, Sun Country offers the following “missed-class options”: Stay and Play (ages 5 and younger), Gym Jam (ages 5 and up), Gym Jam Jr. (ages 3.5-5), Splash Jam (ages 3 and up), Rock Wall (must fit in the harness), Ninja Jam (ages 3-11), or Dance Jam (ages 6-10).
You must call in your absence prior to the start of class in order to receive a “missed-class option”.
Weather Policy (Swim):
Inclement weather (including but not limited to: thunder, lightning or tornado warnings) often times passes through the area quickly. We will make every effort to hold your child’s swim lesson, please plan on attending class. In the event of inclement weather (thunder/lightning), please wait in your car, the deck supervisor will make an announcement by mega-phone when class is ready to safely begin.
Missed Class Policy (Swim):
If your child is ill, a doctors note must be turned in to the deck supervisor to receive a missed class option (limit one per month). Missed class passes are not available for swim class absences due to vacations, other activities, etc.
If you wish to un-enroll your class an un-enrollment form must be received before the 25th of the month (when we bill for the upcoming month). We will not credit/refund if we have already charged your card.
• Being late is very disruptive to classes. Please arrive on time.
• Sun Country charges a $25.00 fee for all declined funds.
Can I ask Sun Country staff to babysit?:
Sorry, no, and here’s why – At Sun Country Sports Center, the safety and well-being of students in our program is top priority. To promote a safe environment for Sun Country activities and events, and to reduce the likelihood of an abusive situation, we require that all of our staff adhere to the Standards of Behavior outlined in our Misconduct Prevention Policy.
One of these Standards is that out-of-program contact with students, such as babysitting, tutoring and ride giving, is prohibited. This policy reduces the potential for an unsafe situation by only allowing Sun Country staff contact with students in structured, supervised settings.
We know our staff are great, and we encourage you to take advantage of our licensed, accredited child care programs like FUNrichment Afterschool, Camp Sunny and Parent’s Night Out. However, we ask that parents please refrain from putting our staff in an unsafe and uncomfortable position by recognizing the importance of our policies.
Thanks for supporting Sun Country Sports Center, so that we can continue to provide quality youth development programming for the community. Please reach out if you have questions or if you are interested in the full text of our Misconduct Prevention policy.
