Our heated 25-yard saline pool with adjustable vinyl enclosure ensures year-round optimum swimming conditions with no red eyes, no irritated skin, no damaged hair, and no damaged bathing suits.

Jill brings a lifetime of experience to the pool. A competitive swimmer for 12 years and former collegiate swimmer at the University of Kentucky, she has spent over 40 years teaching swimmers of all ages and skill levels. Jill has served as the Director of SwimAmerica of Gainesville for 28 years and has been a valued part of programming at Sun Country for the past 8 years. Her dedication and expertise help create a supportive, confidence-building environment for every swimmer.
Kelly combines competitive experience with a strong coaching background to support swimmers at every stage. A former collegiate swimmer at the University of Florida, she recently served as an Assistant Swim Coach at the University of South Carolina from 2023-2025. Kelly has been teaching both group and private lessons with SwimAmerica of Gainesville for 8 years, bringing energy, knowledge, and encouragement to every class.

SwimAmerica of Gainesville is a learn-to-swim program for all levels. Classes are offered for children beginning at age 6 months through adults. Our philosophy is to promote awareness and water safety by giving each swimmer a foundation of skills that will foster a lifelong love of the water. We individualize each lesson so that each swimmer progresses at his or her own level of readiness, and we firmly believe that the consistent reinforcement of our year-round, one or two-day-a-week lessons provides a life-saving skill while building success, confidence and smiles.
Splash Jam welcomes ages 3+ for a 30-minute swim lesson. Join us to improve your skills, meet instructors, and have fun from beginners to advanced levels.

Gator Swim Club (GSC) is a year-round competitive swim program specializing in helping swimmers improve through the pursuit of excellence in life and sport. GSC accommodates all levels of swimming, from novice to masters to professionals.
Sun Country Sports members have the opportunity to join Gator Swim Club (GSC) at Sun Country if they have progressed through the SwimAmerica program and been approved by a GSC or SwimAmerica Director.
We are excited to announce our partnership with Every Child A Swimmer to help remove barriers to swim instruction and make children safer in the water! Through this program, Sun Country is expanding access to swim lessons through our tuition assistance program. Please fully complete the application to be considered.
